Posted by Desirι on Jun 18 2010 @ 11:56 am • 0 COMMENTS Hi everybody! I'm sure you were aware of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Grand Opening on Wednesday evening, which continues during the weekend, with the main cast being there presenting the show and offering press conferences. I apologize for not having updated earlier just in case you missed the livestream at www.grandopeningwebevent.com.
Dan Radcliffe, Rupert, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, the Phelps twins, Matt Lewis, Michael Gambon and Warwick Davis (which directed the Hogwarts choir) opened the celebration and lit up the Hogwarts castle in a truly magic evening: I was watching I dying to be there. The livestream was for about an hour on Wednesday and today morning; I missed it today but you can watch part of it here!

RupertGrintNet was one of the lucky websites that were guests at private event, so you can follow their Twitterfor a live feed!
We will update with photos and videos soon!

In other but not less exciting news, Wild Target will be released today in the UK! We are very jealous if you are of the ones who will be watching it; if not, and if you are still waiting for Rupert's latest movie to come out in your country, you can read a review made by Lauren from RGN here.

Rupert Grint Talks Harry Potter, Wild Target and Eddie the Eagle with WalesOnline

Posted by Mhaey on Jun 09 2010 @ 08:41 am • 0 COMMENTS
In a recent interview with WalesOnline, Rupert Grint spoke about how different will be the next Harry Potter film will be, how easily they did Wild Target and how he is looking forward to his next project, the "Eddie the Eagle" biopic.

On the ending of Harry Potter, he said:

“We’ve been at this one since February 2009 so it’s been a really long shoot. I wished it was quicker but then we didn’t want the last few months to end,”

“It’s going to be a very different Harry Potter film. I think it’s going to be a great way to end."

On how fast they did Wild Target:

“It was about six weeks. It’s such a different world to work in,”

“I learnt a lot doing both these films. Everything matters a lot more because of the lower budget.

“We didn’t have the benefit of what Potter has to keep going and going – we had a time limit that put more pressure on you but also made you more into it.”

On his next project, the Eddie the Eagle biopic:

“I’m quite looking forward to that. He’s a big character and quite funny. It’s still early stages though, it’s not completely final yet,”

“The whole story is inspiring because he’s the classic underdog and he actually did amazing things. He set the British record at the time. He’s just got so much guts.”

You can read the full interview here!

That's right! Rupert's film Wild Target, in which he co-stars with Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt, is hitting the big screen in US theatres!

Variety has announced that Free Style Releasing will be distibuting  Wild Target to all us American fans! This is a major relief as we didn't get a US realese of Rupert's other film Cherrybomb!

The currently reported realese date is October 8th of this year! please note that this is not and official date and is subject to change.

Thanks to our friends at RupertGrint.net for the tip off!

New Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows released!

Posted by Desirι on Jun 06 2010 @ 10:32 pm • 0 COMMENTS

Those who have been sitting at the edge of the seat, waiting for this moment, know that it was totally worth it!

As we have informed, a new teaser trailer for Deathly Hallows was due to be released this evening at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, where Half-Blood Prince was nominated for Best Movie, Emma for Best Female Performance, Daniel for Best Male Performance and Tom Feltom for Best Villain. The clip came, and it makes us very aware of how close November is! (not really, but we'll keep waiting )

The clip shows some very exciting moments, sad and cute as well. Watch at your own risk, but you'll feel the fan inside you claiming for more! (If you don't want to see any spoilers, don't watch it)

As my computer keeps playing badly with me, you can watch the trailer in YouTube for now! Thanks to RGN for providing us with this HD quality video.

Emma didn't win in her category, and I stopt watching after the trailer, but we'll update as soon as the results are out and a high definition video is released. Here's a little spoiler graphic I just made with the most awesome scenes:

Edit: Sadly, only Tom Felton won last night as Best Villan. As you might imagine who took most of the awards, I won't say anything else

Rupert Grints Talks About "Graduating" From Harry Potter/More Epilogue Filming and National Movie Awards Photos

Posted by Mhaey on Jun 01 2010 @ 03:16 pm • 2 COMMENTS
In a recent interview, Rupert Grint talks about how the ending of the Potter film series is like graduating from school and why he is moving on to do projects like "Wild Target."

"It is weird I suppose. I've not known any different... it's the way I've grown up. You get used to it. It's weird - like having a big home movie. If the old films are on TV I'll glimpse slightly, but I've never watched one all the way through."

"I guess it was one of the reasons I did 'Wild Target' because it was kind of a way out... 'Harry Potter' is coming to an end, it's the last one, then it's all done. It's a weird feeling because we've been so long in this bubble and now we have to walk away from it all. It's important to do different things and stretch out."

"I didn't know how films were made at first, so you just learn as you go, like a school and all the amazing people you've worked with, and now it's like graduating."

Also, we now have clear photos of the adult Ron and Hermione and their daughter Rose Weasley, Draco and his Tom's girlfriend, Jade Gordon, who's also in costume and was supposedly playing the part of Draco's wife, Astoria, in our gallery! Thanks to Premiere.Fr and ScarPotter!

Rupert Grint: "I’ve always been quite a proud ginger."/Wild Target Soundtrack

Posted by Mhaey on May 28 2010 @ 12:42 pm • 0 COMMENTS
In a recent interview, Rupert talks about how proud he is to be a ginger and that he will never think of dyeing his hair. (Well, he is a true Weasley at heart!  )

The Harry Potter star says he’d never dye his fiery locks because it would be a “betrayal” to the fans who recognize him wherever he goes.

“Do I get recognized? It’s embarrassing; I think it’s my hair,” he said. “It’s mad, yeah I can go out, but I get recognized all the time… I’ve always been quite a proud ginger so I couldn’t dye it and betray the other gingers.

“Getting recognized is strange, it’s not an easy thing to get your head round, but I’m getting used to it.”

Additionally, the cover art for the Wild Target soundtrack is now online! You can pre-order the soundtrack here at Amazon.Co.UK.

National Movie Awards 2010/Deathly Hallows Epilogue Photos/Rupert Grint talks Nude Scenes in Wild Target

Posted by Mhaey on May 27 2010 @ 12:04 pm • 2 COMMENTS The Potter cast photos from this year's National Movie Awards are now online. Emma Watson, Bonnie Wright, Daniel Radcliffe and producers David Heyman and David Barron and director David Yates, all attended the event (Rupert Grint was supposed to attend as well, but Daniel mentioned that he's not feeling well that's why he missed it. Poor Rupert! We hope he gets well soon!).

Half-Blood Prince won the Best Family category and Harry Potter got a Special Recognition Award.

The list of the winners can be seen below:
• Action/Thriller - Sherlock Holmes
• Family - Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
• Fantasy - The Twilight Saga: New Moon
• Most Anticipated Movie of the summer - The Twilight Saga: Eclipse • Breakthrough Movie - The Time Traveller's Wife
• Performance of the Year Male/Female - Robert Pattinson (The Twilight Saga New Moon)
• Special recognition award - Harry Potter
• Screen Icon - Tom Cruise

Pictures of the Potter cast on the event are now in our galleries! Check them out below!

David Heyman and Emma Watson had this to say in regards of Harry Potter winning a Special Recognition Award:

“It’s been the most incredible adventure. “We’ve become a bit of a family so on behalf of the Harry Potter family, I would like to thank Jo Rowling for giving us the books, without her we wouldn’t be here.”

“Thank you, the fans, for your support and giving us the opportunity to bring these books to life and giving us the chance to enjoy this unbelievable really special, decade.”

Emma Watson joined him in thanking the fans and choked back tears saying: “There will be a huge hole in my heart when this is over.”

A video, courtesy of DanRadcliffe.com, of the Potter cast accepting their award can be seen below!

And the video below shows the Potter cast accepting their Special Recognition Award:

A new video with Emma and Daniel talking about the end of the series is now up!

These past three days, photos from the shooting of the Epilogue in Kings Cross station appeared one by one online. We now have them up in our gallery! Photos of the adult Ron, Harry, Ginny and Draco, as well as their kids (except for Rose Weasley).

0032~0.jpg 5bs8lf.jpg 30248pd.jpg 14e2l2u.jpg a8jDDY.jpg P1070190_2.jpg EROTEME_HARRY_POTTER_100525Z8_43~0.jpg sl5ixe.jpg

There's still no photos of Emma Watson as the adult Hermione, but Ellen gave a fairly good description of her and Rose Weasley.

Emma had a kind of long bob, I can't really remember what she was wearing. Rose has really ginger hair, like Hugo's, which is short and messy. When I saw them the Rose and Hugo actors were holding hands, so I am guessing they get on well. As were the Lily and James actors.

UPDATE: A new video is up with Rose Weasley and the adult Hermione in it! Watch it below!

A video containing a glimpse of the adult Ron and Draco can be seen below:

In other news, Rupert Grint recently talked in new interview, about what it felt like having to strip down in front Bill Nighy in their upcoming film, Wild Target.

“It’s quite embarrassing where I had to stand in the bath, I had a jock strap kind of thing, it was weird because it wasn’t water, it was milk... to make the water look cloudy so you couldn’t see anything – we were in a bath of milk.

"Thankfully there weren’t many people on set just me and Bill. He didn’t really say very much, but yes it did feel just a bit uncomfortable for the both of us."

"It’s embarrassing, I've never been to a gym or really done any sports... but I’m not lazy as I'm always working or busy doing something."

Wild Target will hit the UK theaters this coming June 18, 2010.

Emma Watson on One Night Only's Music Video

Posted by Mhaey on May 23 2010 @ 05:47 am • 0 COMMENTS Emma Watson recently confirmed in a new interview with News of the World that she will be appearing in the band One Night Only's music video for the song, Say You Don't Want It. One of the band members, George Craig, is Emma's friend and is also her fellow Burberry model.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson is transforming into a rock chick - and told me she's also enjoying a spell being single.

George, from Helmsley, Yorkshire, told me: "We became really great mates and she asked to be in the video. She wants to be a rock chick after ten years of Harry Potter."

And Emma revealed she'd love her next acting role to involve music. She told me: "I love singing and I'd love to be in a musical film now Harry Potter is finished." With her exams now over, Emma is unsure what to do in the summer. I'm sure she'll find a rockin' role.

You can see a picture of Emma with the band on the set of the music video, below!

Also, a behind-the-scenes video was released by the band. Emma introduced the video and you can also catch glimpses of her in it. Watch it below! (WARNING: Strong and mature language and scenes.)

Rupert Grint on The Telegraph

Posted by Mhaey on May 14 2010 @ 08:16 pm • 0 COMMENTS Rupert Grint talks about how his weekend goes and how the Potter filming have affected them, in a new interview with The Telegraph. You can read an excerpt of his interview below!

As a child, my weekends were spent helping my dad run his business selling Formula 1 memorabilia. It was fun playing around with all the gear and my brother James and I would create our own amusement by building coffee tables out of old tyres we found around the lot. Those were the good old days. Now I'm a fully grown adult with a full-time job which, unfortunately, doesn't involve mucking around all day.

When I'm filming Harry Potter, my schedule gets very hectic and weekends off are never guaranteed. We can spend an entire day just sitting and reading lines in a studio in Watford, which is why I try to make the most of the little time that I have off. Although we have a lot of fun on set, playing practical jokes and catching up, it's always an utter relief to go home after a long day in front of the camera.

Saturday afternoons are usually reserved for playing golf with the buddies and we might catch up over a few drinks afterwards. It's always a good feeling being surrounded by friends after a busy week of filming. They keep you grounded.

I'll head home at around 4pm, ready to have dinner with my family. None of us are really great cooks, which is why we frequently eat out at our favourite local, the Bull Inn. You cannot beat traditional pub grub: lots of meat, potatoes and vegetables served with a pint. It may not be healthy, but it tastes absolutely delicious.

Sundays are my lazy days. Again, I'll get up quite late, perhaps surf the internet and watch some television. I'm addicted to antiques programmes at the moment. I watch the Antiques Roadshow religiously.

You can read the full interview here!
