Deathly Hallows released in 3-D
Rumours circulated online last week that the last two movies will be in 3-D but wasn't confirmed by Warner Brothers until yesterday.
"We are experienced and have been successful in the conversion of 2D to 3D going back to such hits as 'The Polar Express,' select scenes in 'Superman Returns' and the last two Harry Potter films,” Warners domestic distribution boss Dan Fellman said.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One will be released November, 2010, and Part Two is out July, 2011.

Pictures from "Love from Emma" plus Interviews/Cherrybomb and Wild Target for April in the UK
Emma was featured last Sunday in the Daily Mail's You magazine; although excerpts from the interview were released in the newspaper's website, EmmaWatsonNet amazingly got the scans, which contain several new pictures from the shoot.
You’ve done acting, modelling, and now you’re designing. Is this the future for Emma Watson?
Oh, I don’t have any plans to be a designer. I’m doing this range because I really care about fair-trade and ethical fashion. I’m so pleased that I got involved, but I don’t want to take all the credit for being the designer because I haven’t trained as a designer or even gone to art college – in fact, I had no idea about the amount of work involved at the outset!
So this is not an Emma Watson clothing line?
I didn’t want this collection to be all about me. This is not a celebrity endorsement, it is about creating something that is genuinely a great idea and about making a difference through fashion.
Where did you get your design inspiration for the range?
I went through my summer wardrobe and thought, ‘If I filtered this
so that it was just the very basics, what would I want to keep?’ The answer was cotton vests, easy T-shirt dresses, nice scarves to accessorise with and some lovely linen pieces. For the boys’ range I’ve done hoodies, which I know they’ll love. The clothes are very British, which is why we shot them in an English country garden – it’s all very strawberries and cream and tennis.
But do you think it is possible to enjoy high-street fashion and also support fair trade?
It’s important to differentiate between fast fashion, which is made very quickly for a very small price, and fair-trade fashion. So if you buy a T-shirt for £2, you just have to do the maths and work our how much the person who made it is being paid.
Read the rest of the interview here or from the scans (There is a small mistake in the pictures captions: it points Chris Belcher as Emma's brother; however Alex is in the shoot, the caption is mistaken).
Snitch Seeker has some HQ pictures from the promotional shoot as well:
And both Marie Claire UK and The Telegraph offer new pictures in MQ, the later with an accompanying article:
“I’ve not had any fashion training, but I am an artist. I paint, I draw and I had a great team to work with. I designed the collection for myself and my friends; they’re the sort of thing we wear – the difference being they’re ecologically sound.”
Emma worked on the collection in the evenings, after a day’s shooting, and whenever she had a weekend off from filming. “I became completely engrossed. I tried on the clothes, I worked on the catalogue and my friends and I were models. We all worked for free.”
She knows she never need work another day in her life, but says she would consider doing a second collection for People Tree: “If people like it and it sells, I’m committed.”
She’s equally passionate about her education, studying art, painting and drawing, history, English and poetry at Brown, and starting lessons in contemporary ballet in the summer.
“I’m going to be there for four years but I’m not planning to disappear. I’m auditioning for a play, Chekhov’s Three Sisters, and I’m still reading scripts. Where I’ll be in ten years’ time, I really have no idea. I am on the brink of making some big decisions.”

The Telegraph is also giving away 50 autographed Union Jack tote bags, which is not for sale at the moment. Enter here! Thanks to EmmaWNet for the tip.
On a different issue, Rupert's upcoming movies, Cherrybomb and Wild Target, are both scheduled for a UK release in April 2010, according to Launching Films. Although this is confirmed, the dates may be subject to change. Thanks to ICM for the news!

"Love from Emma" Finally On Sale!/Rupert for InStyle UK Video/More!
One of the promotional pictures had surfaced online, thanks to EmmaWNet, and we posted it to our Twitter; all of them will be soon (I expect) in the galleries, which are still being fixed at the moment.
As shown via Twitter, a picture from the shoot that Rupert did along with Jamie Campbell-Bower and Kaya Scodelario for InStyle UK, to be released this week, has surfaced; now a behind-the-scenes video was released on their website too. Watch here.
Thanks to Matt Lewis' daily tweets, we recently found that Rupert was enjoying with him a Spurs vs. Leeds match at White Hart Lane, and with a photo on top.
While the distribution deals around the world for Cherrybomb were announced, Indi Vision finally confirmed via Twitter that they will be in charge of the UK release. We hope everybody will be able to enjoy it soon!
On news that you might have been expecting, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has a good deal to tell. First, Universal Orlando Resort announced a national advertisement for the park to be aired during the Super Bowl XLIV, on the 7th of February, CBS:
(...)
"Set to air during the first half of the Super Bowl, the ad features all-new footage and pulls viewers directly into the new area – from the bustling village of Hogsmeade, to the immensity of Hogwarts castle. The commercial also features Harry Potter and two children who get a glimpse at the excitement guests can expect to experience when they visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter."
(...)
According to the creative team, the structures of the park are 90 percent complete and they are focusing in details now, but a Spring 2010 opening is likely, yet not confirmed.
Some details that Thierry Coup, vice president of creative development for Universal Creative, revealled in an interview are:
* The wand-choosing experience can take from 2-5 minutes at least per person; the wand choosing itself won’t be charged, just the wand itself, but a price range hasn't been determined yet.
* There will be replicas of the wands from some of the main characters including in sets, which are made by Noble Collection, but it's not the same as the wands that will be chosen for ‘wizard’ guests to the park.
* The Ollivander's shop will include every detail from the books possible, down to the tinkling bell, the single window, and the sign that hearkens the shop back to 382 b.c.
* Ollivander's in this "Hogsmeade" is, with permission from J.K. Rowling, an annex, a satellite shop of the main Ollivander's (which is in Diagon Alley in London; Hogsmeade is in Scotland). The wandkeeper will not be Mr. Ollivander. There will be only one in the shop at any given time.
* The wands have all been designed by Stuart Craig and approved by J.K. Rowling.
* Customers may buy wands without doing the choosing.
* Questions will be asked of the customers, including birthdate and other factual details, to determine the appropriate wandwood based on the Celtic calendar (as frequently is done in the Harry Potter books).
* The wands are made out of 13 different types of wood.
* Children will be able to build their own wand
* When trying out your wands, there may be mishaps in the shop - flowers wilting, thunder and lightning in the store, etc. - when you use the wrong one.
* There are no current plans for "dark" areas of Hogsmeade, a la Nocturne Alley, but Coup said to "stay tuned for that."
* The inside of the castle includes rooms built to full scale from the films - Dumbledore's office, the Great Hall, the Gryffindor Common room, the Dark Arts classroom, and more.
* The previous reports of wands interacting with the environment of the park have not yet been realized, but there's "a lot going on" in each area of the amusement
* "Every Harry Potter fan is going to be very critical of this [park]: we want to make sure that it's going to be absolutely fantastic and perfect."
* Many props will be displayed from the Harry Potter film sets, such as the Flying Ford Anglia.
* There will be a Howler in the Owl Post shop window that will rant loudly as guests pass
* The Monster Book of Monsters will snarl and growl in Dervish and Banges
* The Hog's Head will be seen puffing his jowls at visitors who visit.
* At Dervish and Banges, there will be wand accessories that can be bought.
* The Owl Post and Dervish and Banges are the smallest shops, Ollivanders is slightly larger, and Zonko’s joke shop is the largest. There are no queues to get into the shops, despite being interactive experiences as well as shops.
* There are no plans yet for expansion within the park, but it is a possibility.
A picture from Ollivander's shop was released; I'll post it via Twitpic soon :)
You can follow Thierry Coup on Twitter for first-hand details.
On Deathly Hallows news, Julie Walters talked to What's on TV website about her role as Molly Weasley in this set of two movies:
“It is back to Harry Potter. Mrs Weasley has a lot to do this time. I kill Helena Bonham Carter for a start – and not many can say that. We have a bit of a wand contest, I can’t wait. It will be sad, though, because I’ve watched all of them all grow up. It will certainly leave a void."
And Bonnie Wright told to InStyle UK, for which she did a Best of British Talent shoot as well, that Deathly Hallows filming finishes in May:
According to Empire Online, there is the rumour that both Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movies will be released in 3-D:
(...)
Warners was apparently closed-mouthed when asked to confirm, so until the official announcement this is technically a rumour. But that shoe is expected to drop before the week - and knowing the speed at which these things move in the Internet age, the day - is over.
Empire Online also features Dobby as one of the "Most Donwtrodden (Yet Inspiring) Characters in Movie History", describing why he is so miserable and why he is inspiring:
Again, apologies for the lack of updates; we hope everything will be back as good as new soon!
